Bat Wars Tournament This Weekend!

The Union County Vipers have both the National and Regional teams scheduled to play in "Bat Wars - Nations Baseball Premier Super Regional Tournament" this weekend in Gastonia, NC!

 

The following are the tournament schedules for the Vipers National and Vipers Regional teams: 

 

 

Vipers National:

      

Game 1:  Saturday - Vipers National vs. Burke Wildcats @ 9:00am

Game 2:  Saturday - Vipers National vs. NC Young Guns @ 12:30pm

Game 3:  Sunday - TBD

Game 4:  Sunday - TBD

 

 

Vipers Regional:

 

Game 1:  Saturday - Vipers Regional vs. Lake Norman Copperheads @ 2:15pm

Game 2:  Saturday - Vipers Regional vs. Team Carolina @ 4:00pm

Game 3:  Sunday - TBD

Game 4:  Sunday - TBD

Regional Vipers Take Home Another Championship!

The Union County Vipers Regional Team were once again very impressive this past weekend in Rock Hill, posting a 4-0 record and earning the "USSSA Mayfest Mayhem Global NIT" Championship trophy!!

 

The Vipers won the tournament in walk off fashion.  After going into the bottom of the 6th inning of the championship game down 9-8, the Vipers rallied with back to back hits to start the inning.  A double and a walk off single capped off an impressive comeback, and the championship trophy!

 

We would like to congratulate the players, coaches, families, and friends of the Viper organization for their continued hard-work and support! We look forward to bringing home another Championship trophy soon!
